September is Member’s Appreciation Month!

To celebrate this special occasion, we want to invite all existing and new members to our Sunday Brunch!

Sunday Brunch takes place every Sunday in September & is all-you-can-eat: $15 per adult, $8 per child. We will have a Breakfast Bar, Carving Station, delicious salads, artfully-made entrée’s, and Kaysi’s wonderful desserts!

Club Updates: Hours

New Hours of operations starting Tuesday, Sept. 1st are as follows: open starting 7:30am until last guest leaves.

On Tuesday, Sept. 1st, the golf course will be closed but the country club, dining,  tennis, and pool will be open.

Labor Day Hours on Monday, Sept. 7th will be  7:30am- 5pm. The Pool will be closing Tuesday, Sept. 8 after Labor Day.

Hidden Trails is excited to announce our new Executive Chef Tony Clark!

Chef Tony Clark comes to Hidden Trails Golf and Country Club with 35 plus years of Culinary Experience.

Tony’s Love Affair with Food started at a family-owned Diner, at the age of 13 as a protégé to his beloved Grandfather.  Tony moved to Oklahoma 17 years ago to be closer to his son, and over the years has made Mustang his home with his wife Diana.

Tony’s history in OKC started at the Oklahoma City Golf and Country Club as Sous Chef/Room Chef, followed by the Executive Chef position at Crest Fresh Market, then a couple seasons as Sous Chef at Rose Creek Golf and Country Club.

Tony’s most recent experience is with Abbey Road Catering and University Cuisine.  Where he was Chef at Phi Beta Pi Sorority House as well as Catering with Abbey Road, providing services for the OU Football Team, plated dinners, and buffets from 10-500 guests for weddings and events.

Club Championship Weekend

September 19-20th

Men’s Club Championship

Men’s Gross and Net Scores are Posted.  36 Holes of Individual Stroke Play.  The field will be divided into four flights.  The Low Gross score in the field will be deemed the 2020 Club Champion.  In addition, there will be a trophy for Low Gross in and Net each flight (except Champions Flight is Gross Scores Only). and one Overall Low Net Champion.  Prize payout will be based on the total number of entries in each flight.  Gross and Net Winners will be paid Gift Certificates.  Additional $20 skins competition in each flight ($10 Per Person/Per Day/Per Flight).

Ladies Club Championship

Ladies Net Scores are Posted but Gross Champion is Rewarded as 2020 Club Champion.

Trophies for Low Gross, Low Net, Low Gross Senior.

Couples Club Championship

Couples do not play together, they play separately in his/her division and total Net Scores are Posted, with Total Gross Scores Awarded Club Champs and Net Champs Awarded Shop Credit.

Eligible to Play: 18 Years or Older.  You must be a Golf Member, Corporate Family Plus or Corporate Individual Plus Member to be eligible to play.  You must be in good standing (paid up).

Saturday Tee Times will begin at 8:30am.  Sunday Tee Times will begin at 1pm.  Tee Times will be posted in the Pro Shop.  Sunday starting times will be based on the competitor’s first round gross score within each flight.

Tennis News from Hidden Trails!

Dear members,

We are so excited and grateful that Hidden Trails Country Club was able to invest in the outdoor courts. We can proudly say we have beautiful outdoor courts now. If you get a chance come and try them out. We are continuing our efforts to raise the money in order to be able to further update and improve our tennis facilities. We need a new fence for the courts which is another expensive project so we greatly appreciate each and every one of you that shows us support.

Hidden Trails Grand Slam Tournament
August 8th 

Time: 8 – 5pm

Tournament fee: $20

This tournament will be an exciting but simple combination of World Team Tennis and USTA league rules. The matches will be fast-paced and fun. Get your racquets freshly strung!

There will be four levels of play: NTRP 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, and 4.5+.. Each team will play in one flight. Each team must have a minimum of four players: two men and two women. A team may have a maximum of six players. Due to Covid-19 we will have masks at the front desk and will require everyone to wear them while in the lobby area. We will play indoor and outdoor.

 

Women’s Pickleball Tournament
August 15th | 8-2pm

Tournament fee: free for members, $10 non members

 

Serve and Return Clinic
August 29th

• ​8-9am (3.0 level) 
• 9-10am (3.5,4.0 level)

The goal of this clinic is to help you improve 2 most important shots of your game; your serves and returns.

Bring your kids to play in this fun round robin style tournament. Trophies and rewards will be given to winners.

  • Level: beginners, drop in class on Sundays 1.30-3pm

Trails Mix: August- see what’s new!

A big thank you to all who played in the Member Guest July 23-26th!  It was a huge success as we had a record 110 men engage in battle on a beautiful golf course for 4 days with A Flight Winners Justin Nard and Cameron VanEtten emerging as the Champions Shootout Winners as well.

We appreciate all who sponsored the event and you can see them displayed in the Ring of Honor in the Men’s Locker Room all year long.  All shop credit has been entered and all winning $s can be picked up behind the counter in the Pro Shop.
