Dear members,
I hope everyone is safe after the ice storm and are getting back into their ‘normal’ routines. Hopefully, you can take a break from everything & come join us for some tennis or pickleball fun.
We have had some amazing events in October. I am grateful to all who came, all who helped with preparation/organization and finally thanks to our members who are always there to support us.
Take a look at some of the pictures from our Grand Re-Opening Fundraiser as well as the Grand Slam Tournament. We had a blast!
Grand Re-Opening Fundraiser
We are thrilled we were able to raise funds with this event to help pay for our brand new outdoor court lights. Special thank you to 3 amazing ladies (picture below), our members Lexa Shafer, Gay Harris and Janet Hand who helped tremendously in making this event a success. They donated majority of silent auction items and put a lot of time and energy in helping prepare for this event.
Grand Slam Tournament
We had 4 different brackets; US Open, French Open, Australian Open and Wimbledon.
Over 80 people competed for a Grand Slam Title, lots of fun!

November Events
PC Smash Pickleball Tournament – November 6th and 7th
This tournament is a fundraiser ran by Gene Click. The tournament proceeds will go to Putnam City North High School.
H.I.T.S – UTR match play
(H.I.T.S ~ Stands for “Hidden-Trails is the spot”)
H.I.T.S match play (doubles and singles) will be available to all ages and levels every 2nd Saturday in the month.
The match scores are recorded on UTR.
Day/Time: Saturday, November 14th
Cost: $10 members, $16 nonmembers

Hidden Trails Pickleball Tournament
November 21st | 8am -1:30pm
This is the tournament that had to be postponed in October due to the ice storm so we are finally making it happen.
Free for members, $15/nonmembers.
H.I.T.S – UTR Verified Prize Money Tournament
Come join us for our compass tournament play at Hidden Trails Country Club and win some cash!
This will be a tournament for USTA level 2.5-3.5.
Day/Time: 4pm, Saturday, November 21st
Entry fee:
Hidden Trails members $25 (in addition to $10 fee upon online registration).
Non-members $30 (in addition to $10 UTR fee upon online registration).
Prize money:
Doubles – 1st place wins $100! ($50 for each player) 2nd place and the winner of the losing bracket gets surprise prizes!
Singles – 1st place wins $100! 2nd place gets a golf and brunch certificate!
The winner of the losing bracket wins a Brunch certificate.
Thanksgiving Dinner at Hidden Trails

Adult Leagues
Leagues are prepaid with no drop-ins.
Duration: 6 weeks
Time: Evenings at 6:30-8:30pm and Sundays at 3-5pm
Cost: Members $50, Non-members $75
Mondays | Men league (level 2.5-3.5)
Thursdays | Mixed (level 3.5/4.0)
Fridays | Mixed (level 2.5-3.5)
Sundays | Women (3.5/4.0)

We are starting day time leagues for both men and women (all levels). We are planning for ladies league to be on Tuesdays at 10am with a start date Tuesday, November 10th. If you would like to sign up or need more information please contact Elizabeta at 405-837-4269.

This league is held on Saturday mornings at 7-9am. Cost is $10/members, $15/non members. Level of play is 3.0-4.0 players. If you would like to get on a list for this league please contact Elizabeta at 405-837-4269.

Who is this program for? Beginning Tennis players and anyone that has yet to discover tennis.

High Performance Group
For competitive players 12 and up. Practice times are Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays at 5-6.30pm.
We offer additional match play day on Saturdays at 2pm.

Tuesdays and Thursdays at 4.30-6pm.
Age: 12 and up
Once per week cost: $15 members, $20 non-members
Twice per week cost: $20 members, $30 non-members
Orange Ball Group
Weekly Thursday group (5.30-6.30pm) and weekly Saturday group that meets 1-2pm.

Tiny Tots Group
Weekly Saturday group that meets 12-12.45pm
Age: 3 & 4 year olds

Champion Minded Book Fundraiser
At Hidden Trails, one of our goals is to provide our students with the skills and principles needed in order to achieve success in both tennis and life! We would like to provide copies of the book “Champion Minded” to our junior students, encouraging them to begin implementing the principles of leadership and success discussed within the book.
Any donation towards covering the cost of these books would be greatly appreciated!
