Tennis & Pickleball News
Dear members,
We are entering October with positivity and gratitude for many things we have accomplished in the past couple of months. We have quadrupled our membership numbers, had many successful events and tournaments and are continuously seeing new faces in our junior and adult programming.
While we are aware that COVID is going to be with us for a while, tennis remains one of the safer ways to get together and exercise. This sport is one of the joys that remains for us in a world where many things have been shut down or significantly altered. We play on, we live on, we do our best, and we adjust.
October will be a very busy month for us. We have many events planned for you and we hope you will join us. We are currently working on raising money for the outdoor court lights and appreciate every one of you as you help us reach our goal. October Events
Grand Re-Opening Fundraiser – Adult Social
- Day/Time: Friday, October 9th at 6.30-10pm
- Event Fee: $15 (Includes Mexican buffet dinner)
- Activities: Tennis Doubles Mixer, Pickleball, Raffle, Silent Auction, Mexican Buffet + Margaritas
Hidden Trails Tennis & Pickleball Center marks new beginning! Our wonderful members and guests are the reason we keep trying to reach new heights. We invite you to join us for a fun filled Friday evening and help us fund the new things to come.

H.I.T.S- UTR Match Play
Every 2nd Saturday of the month | 4pm start
(H.I.T.S ~ Stands for “Hidden-Trails is the spot”)
Cost: $10 members, $16 nonmembers
H.I.T.S match play will be available to all ages and levels every 2nd Saturday in the month. The match scores are recorded on UTR.

Pickleball Clinic
Take your Pickleball game to the next level with our National Pickleball Champion, coach Jenny Marcos

- Time: 10.30-12.30pm
- Cost: $25 per player, all levels are welcome

H.I.T.S – UTR Verified Prize Money Tournament
Come join us for our compass tournament play at Hidden Trails Country Club and win some cash! This is an Open Tournament, USTA level 3.5 and above.
Day/Time:
- Doubles draw will be played on Friday, October 16th at 6.30pm
- Singles draw will be played on Saturday, October 17th at 4pm.
Entry fee:
- Hidden Trails members $25 (in addition to $10 fee upon online registration).
- Non-members $30 (in addition to $10 UTR fee upon online registration).
Prize money:
- Doubles – 1st place wins $100! ($50 for each player) 2nd place and the winner of the losing bracket gets surprise prizes!
- Singles – 1st place wins $100! 2nd place gets a golf and brunch certificate! The winner of the losing bracket wins a Brunch certificate.
Interclub League
Join us for this fun tri level league (levels 2.5, 3.0, 3.5). Every Friday morning we are competing against other clubs in town in effort to win a traveling trophy. Our League captain is Gay Harris. Register by contacting front desk or text Elizabeta at 405-837-4269.

Hidden Trails Grand Slam Tournament
Saturday, October 24th
Our Grand Slam Tournament is back! Everyone that participated in our first Grand Slam tournament gave us a very positive feedback so we are looking forward to hosting it again. This tournament is an exciting but simple combination of World Team Tennis and USTA league rules. The matches will be fast-paced and fun. There will be 4 levels of play: NTRP 2.5, 3.0, 3.5/4.0, and 4.5+.. Each team must have a minimum of four players: two men and two women. A team may have a maximum of six players. Put your team together, choose your team name and register by contacting Elizabeta at 405-837-4269.
- Time: 9 – 5pm (levels 2.5 and 3.0 will be playing 9-1pm and levels 3.5/4.0 and 4.5+ will play 1-5pm)
Tournament fee: $25/members, $30/non members (food and drinks will be provided)

Tennis and Pumpkins Spooktacular Event
Come join us on Halloween, Saturday October 31st for a fun morning of tennis and pumpkin carving. We will play tennis and do a contest for most creative, best looking pumpkin. Get out your carving knives and turn your pumpkin into a masterpiece, because this is a contest you won’t want to miss. Register by contacting Elizabeta at 405-837-4269.

High Performance Group
For competitive players 12 and up. Practice times are Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays at 5-6.30pm. We now offer additional match play day on Saturdays at 2pm.
Orange Ball group
Weekly Thursday group (6.30-7.30pm) and weekly Saturday group that meets 1-2pm.
Age: 12 and under
- Once per week cost: $15 members, $20 non-members
- Twice per week cost: $10 members, $15 non-members
Tiny Tots group
Weekly Saturday group that meets 12-12.45pm
Age: 3 & 4 year olds
Cost: $10 members, $15 non-members
Little Champs
Weekly Saturday group that meets 12-12.45pm
